Jaish,the Damascus-based club,have deservedly clinched the Professional Soccer League title after crushing the unfancied team of Taleaa 5-0 at the Abasyeen Stadium in Damascus.

Right from the beginning,Jaish were determined to strongly back on the track of regional soccer.
Early in the first half,onrushing Burhan put his side in the lead with a fierce drive just inside the penalty box.
In the 7th minute ,skipper Maher slipped into the left flank only to deliver a precise cross to Haj who hit with a lovely header.
Haj himself made it 3-0 in the 35th minute with a heard.
In the 59th minute Burhan hit home with a close-range shot.
Mohammad Wakid wrapped up the series of sensational goals in the (90+3) minute to the delight of Jaish fans who,after the end of the match,took into streets to celebrate the wonderful victory at the expense of Karama who dominated the Syrian league over the past years.
The match saw four yellow cards.

Unexpectedly,Karama,last season's title holders, were held to a 3-3 draw by Jableh,who relegated to second division, at the Khalid bin Waleed Stadium in Homs.
Alaa Shibli,Attif Jiniat and Mohammad Hamwi scored for Karama(7,3037) while Adel Zaher,Akram Ali and Jamal Rifai scored for Jableh(34,48,74).
Jableh Mustafa Sadrawi and Richard from Karama were cautioned.

Majd crushed Ifreen ,who played carelessly as they already relegated to second division,3-0 at the Faiha Stadium in Damascus.
Samer Awad and Abdul Hadi Hariri scored for Majd(13,16,28).

Forward Ibrahim gave his side a 1-0 victory over Shurta at the Hamadaniya Stadium in Aleppo.

Jazeera  2   Omaya   2

Jazeera were held to a 2-2 draw by Omaya at the Baldi Stadium in Hasaka.
Natiq Yusuf and Bamba scored for Jazeera (27,55).
Amoa and Imad Zakour scored for Omaya (45,86).

Tishreen   1   Wathba    2

Wathba upset Tishreen  2-1 at Bassel International Stadium in Lattakia.
Tishreen Effe opened the scoring in the 8th minute with a free-direct kick.
Hamoud notched up the equalizer in the 62nd minute.
Jaja,the Brazilian pro.,scored the winning goal in the 89th minute.
The match saw three yellow cards.
