International Bilal Abdul Dayem gave his side Karama an emphatic 1-0 victory over Nawaeer only to regain the lead in the Syrian league.
With this marvelous win,Karama temporarily top the table as Jaish ,second-placed,will play their postponed match of the 19th round against Jazeera in Hasaka.
Nawaeer Alaa Odai was sent off because he received two yellow cards.
Jaish 2 Jableh 1
Jaish,the powerhouse club of Damascus,have continued their impressive run in the Syria Professional Soccer League as they outclassed Jableh 2-1 at the Abassyeen Stadium.
Jaish Shibta broke the deadlock in the 13th minute with a curling-left footer from close range.
In the second half,Jaish pressure paid off in the 59th minute through Maher Sayed .
Two minutes later,Jableh cut the lead when Juan Hisso,the Jaish goalkeeper, scored on his own.
Jableh then were about to level the score but Jamal's fierce drive was cleared by defenders.
In the third quarter of the match,Jaish pressurized Jableh's defense in a bid to increase the lead but to no avail.
Ittihad 4 Wathba 2
Ittihad,the Aleppo-based club,outplayed Wathba 4-2 at the Aleppo International Stadium.
Ittihad,under the Romanian Tita,have won their sixth match in a row as they defeated Wathba 4-2 .
Early in the first half,Ittihad midfielder Tamer Rashid put his side in the lead with a powerful header.
Abdul Fatah Agha made it 2-0 in the 13th minute with a close-range shot.
In the 22nd minute, Wathba cut the lead through Diab Majdoub with a nice piece of individual skills.
Two minutes later, Majdoub himself leveled the score with a close-range shot after he received a precise cross from Jaja.
In the second half,Ittihad,the home team,dominated the midfield producing two more goals.
In the 60th minute,Muhanad Duba,referee of the match,awarded Ittihad a penalty kick as hamoud touched the ball with his hand.
Hmeidi converted.
Agha wrapped up the series of sensational goals in the 70th minute.
"both sides appeared in a good shape.This match is very important for us as we undeservedly lost to Lebanese Nejma in the AFC Cup.My side's goalkeeper committed many mistakes,"Ittihad coach Tita was quoted as saying.
Hisha Khalaf,the Wathba coach ,blamed the refereeing staff over his side's lose.
Shurta 3 Omaya 3
In Damascus, Shurta were held to a 3-3 draw by Omaya at the Faiha Stadium.
Omaya,the visiting team, opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through Ammar Zakour.
Zakaria Yusuf increased the lead in the 38th minute with a close-range shot after he capitalized on a fatal blunder committed by Raid Kurdi.
Former international Anas Sari cut the lead in the 59th minute with a header.
In the 66th minute,Shadi Bakhouri made it 3-1 for Omaya.
In the 77th minute,Seif Hadji hit home with a close-range shot.
Three minutes later,Hadji himself notched up the equalizer.
Shurta Khalid Okla was sent off because of bad behavior.
Jazeera 1 Ifreen 0
Fabiano,the Brazilian pro,scored the winning goal in the 14th minute as his side beat Ifreen 1-0 at the Sporting City Stadium in Hasaka.
He match saw four yellow cards.
Tishreen 1 Wahda 0
In Latakia, Tishreen beat Wahda 1-0 at the Bassel International Stadium .
Abdul Rahman Akkari scored the winning goal at the injury time
of the first half.
The match saw three yellow cards.
Taleaa 1 Majd 2
In Hama,Majd edged out Taleaa 2-1 .
Samer Awad and Ghazi Duwaik(on his own) scored for Majd(20-43) while Jalal Abdi scored for Taleaa ( 38).
